User Data Deletion Instructions

Submit a verified request

1. Use the support or privacy channel designated in your Ranan service agreement. If you are an existing user, sign in and use the verified contact route associated with your workspace.
2. Identify the workspace, your account email, the connected channel, and the categories of data you want deleted. Use only the minimum identifiers needed to locate the data.
3. Ranan will request the minimum information needed to confirm identity or administrative authority before acting on a request that affects a workspace or other users.
4. The request status and completion outcome will be returned through the same verified channel.

Disconnect Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp access

An authorized workspace administrator can disconnect the inbox in Ranan. A Meta user can also remove the authorized app from Meta’s Apps and Websites settings. These actions stop future access to the extent supported by Meta.

Never send a Meta password, OAuth token, webhook secret, or full message history with a deletion request.

Request deletion of stored channel data

After disconnection, submit a separate request if you also want Ranan-held copies removed. The verified request may cover connection tokens, channel identifiers, profiles, conversations, attachments, and related operational records within Ranan’s control, subject to applicable obligations.

Requests from end customers

If you communicated with an organization that uses Ranan, contact that organization first because it normally determines how the conversation is used. If assistance is needed, provide the organization name, channel, your channel identifier, and an approximate conversation period through the verified request channel.

What Ranan deletion does not remove

Deleting a Ranan copy does not delete source data held by Meta or another provider. Use that provider’s controls to manage its copy. Limited records may remain where required by law, needed to prevent abuse or protect rights, or temporarily retained in backups until the normal replacement cycle ends.

Effect and scope

Deletion may be irreversible and may remove conversation history or stop a connected channel. The scope will be clarified before processing a request that affects an entire workspace or data belonging to other users.
